Start preparing early by gathering moving boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, markers, and protective covers. Creating a checklist before moving day can help keep everything organized and reduce stress.
Label Everything Clearly
Label all boxes on multiple sides so you can quickly identify their contents later. Keeping an inventory list or taking photos of stored items can also make unpacking and organizing much easier.
Use Quality Packing Materials
Strong, uniform-sized boxes stack better and help protect your belongings during storage. Plastic storage containers can also help protect items from moisture and simplify organization.
Store Heavy Items Properly
Pack heavier belongings like books and tools in smaller boxes to make lifting easier and prevent boxes from becoming too heavy. Always place heavier boxes on the bottom and lighter boxes on top when stacking.
